Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited and approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program; Associate degree required
- Current Respiratory Therapy licensure through the South Carolina State Medical Examiner's office
- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) credential required, verified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred, verified by the NBRC
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR required; must be obtained within 7 days of hire
- American Heart Association PALS and ACLS certifications required within the orientation period
- NRP certification required for therapists assigned to NICU coverage
- 2–5 years of related respiratory therapy experience preferred
