- Responsible for developing and implementing processes to meet regulatory requirements at the departmental level
- Trains and mentors RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; oversees delegation and supervision of care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona required
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
- Minimum two years of relevant clinical nursing experience required
- Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience preferred
- Specialty certification in PACU or perioperative nursing preferred
- CPR required; ACLS required or must be obtained within six months of hire
- PALS preferred for PACU assignment
- Demonstrated ability to make independent clinical and operational decisions in high-stress environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience managing departmental budget processes a plus
