Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
- No prior experience required; two years of acute care experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU is preferred
- Active Healthcare Provider BLS (American Red Cross or AHA) required on hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the Telemetry role; completion before the end of the orientation period is strongly encouraged
