About the Community

Joshua Tree sits at the edge of Joshua Tree National Park in the high desert of San Bernardino County — a setting that draws outdoor enthusiasts, artists, and clinicians seeking a quieter pace without sacrificing access to Southern California's broader amenities. The area offers world-class rock climbing, hiking, and stargazing, with Palm Springs and the broader Coachella Valley just 30–40 minutes west. Cost of living is lower than coastal Southern California markets, and the region's distinctive desert landscape and tight-knit community culture make it a compelling destination for nurses looking to build a career outside a major urban center.
