About the Community
Worcester is Massachusetts's second-largest city, situated roughly 45 miles west of Boston — close enough to access a major metropolitan area while offering a distinctly more affordable cost of living, a vibrant arts and restaurant scene, and a strong network of public and private schools. The city is home to multiple colleges and universities, a growing biotech and healthcare corridor, and easy access to New England's outdoor recreation, including hiking, skiing, and coastal destinations within a two-hour drive. For clinicians seeking urban amenities without the cost and pace of Boston, Worcester is a compelling base.
