<p>Florida Coast Medical Center — a brand-new acute care facility opening in Port Saint Lucie, Florida in September 2025 — is recruiting a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse for day-shift coverage. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a de novo surgical program that will deliver premier surgical care, neurosciences, orthopedic and spine surgery, cardiac and vascular surgery, cancer care, and urology to the Treasure Coast region. <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program; completion of Periop 101 or a comparable perioperative nursing training program required</li> <li>Minimum one year of RN experience, or equivalent background as a Scrub Technician</li> <li>Active Florida Registered Nurse license (or eligibility to obtain)</li> <li>BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association — required</li> <li>ACLS certification through the American Heart Association — required</li> <li>PALS certification through the American Heart Association — required</li> <li>Critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate safe, quality perioperative patient care</li> </ul>
