<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required; completion of a formal Operating Room Technology (ORT) program required for all new hires</li> <li>Current CPR certification required</li> <li>Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with operative procedures, surgical equipment, and instrumentation</li> <li>Working knowledge of current surgical scrub technique and medical/surgical terminology</li> <li>Preferred: minimum one year of hospital or surgical setting experience</li> <li>Preferred: completion of an accredited Operating Room Technology course and/or national certification (CST or equivalent)</li> <li>Strong customer service orientation and basic computer proficiency</li> </ul>
