Abrazo Scottsdale Campus — a full-service acute care hospital and home to the Abrazo Surgical Institute — is recruiting an experienced Surgical Technologist to join its operating room team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role sits at the center of a high-acuity surgical program that includes comprehensive orthopedic care with navigational technology, sports medicine, and emergency surgical coverage. The position covers both scheduled and emergency cases, offering a scrub tech the breadth of experience that comes with a dedicated surgical institute environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; completion of a formal Operating Room Technology (ORT) program required for all new hires
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with operative procedures, surgical equipment, and instrumentation
  • Working knowledge of current surgical scrub technique and medical/surgical terminology
  • Preferred: minimum one year of hospital or surgical setting experience
  • Preferred: completion of an accredited Operating Room Technology course and/or national certification (CST or equivalent)
  • Strong customer service orientation and basic computer proficiency
