<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required; a valid CNA or PCA/PCT certificate is an acceptable equivalent</li> <li>Minimum one year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting</li> <li>EKG training required for placement in the Cardiac unit</li> <li>Current CPR certification required</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, visitors, and the multidisciplinary care team</li> <li>Working knowledge of patient rights, aseptic and sterile technique, and infection control best practices</li> <li>Basic computer skills required; excellent customer service orientation expected</li> <li>Preferred: Active CNA or LNA certification from the Arizona State Board of Nursing</li> </ul>
