<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent GED required</li> <li>Completion of a basic EKG course or passing an EKG exam required within 90 days of hire</li> <li>Completion of a Cardiac Monitor Technician program designed for unlicensed healthcare providers required within 90 days of hire (preferred if completed prior to hire)</li> <li>Ability to interpret and analyze electrocardiogram rhythms, including recognition of life-threatening dysrhythmias and the cardiac effects of medications and illness</li> <li>Strong customer service skills and basic computer proficiency</li> <li>One year of hospital monitor tech experience preferred</li> </ul>
