Practice Highlights
- Full-time, rotating shift schedule providing 24-hour emergency department coverage
- Hands-on clinical scope includes: EKGs, vital signs and weights, wound care, splint application, specimen collection, CPR, and procedural/suturing assistance for physicians
- Patient transport responsibilities via wheelchair and gurney with a focus on patient safety and family comfort
- Leadership role: responsible for building and maintaining the ED Technician schedule to ensure appropriate 24-hour staffing coverage
- Supervisory responsibility over the ED Certified Nurse Assistant

Qualifications
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification (must be maintained at all times)
- Current EMT or EMT-Paramedic (EMT-P) certificate (must be maintained at all times)
- Minimum two years of Emergency Technician experience preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Spanish language proficiency preferred, reflecting the bilingual patient population of the Coachella Valley
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to maintain positive working relationships across all levels of staff, patients, and families
