About the Community

El Paso sits at the westernmost tip of Texas, nestled against the Franklin Mountains and bordered by New Mexico and the Rio Grande — a geography that delivers year-round sunshine, dramatic desert scenery, and some of the most affordable cost of living among major U.S. cities. The metro area of nearly 700,000 offers a rich bicultural character, a vibrant food and arts scene, and easy access to outdoor recreation including hiking, mountain biking, and skiing at nearby Ski Apache. Families benefit from a range of public and private school options, and the city's proximity to both Albuquerque and the broader Southwest makes it a compelling base for clinicians who value lifestyle alongside career.
