<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Day-shift, full-time position within a dedicated Endoscopy unit</li> <li>Direct clinical patient care role with responsibility for assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care on a per-shift and unit level</li> <li>Accountable for coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process within the prescribed medical regimen</li> <li>Responsible for safe and timely medication administration in accordance with hospital policy</li> <li>Supervisory responsibility for staff to whom appropriate care is delegated</li> <li>Supports the CNO in maintaining high-quality, safe nursing care, clinical staff competency, and appropriate resource management</li> <li>Adherence to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control</li> <li>Participation in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies or disaster events</li> <li>Part of a five-hospital regional system including a dedicated children's hospital, serving as the region's primary healthcare network since 1902</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred</li> <li>Minimum one year of RN experience required for PRN status; recent acute care experience preferred</li> <li>Current, active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain required</li> <li>AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li> <li>AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire</li> </ul>
