About the Community
Worcester is Massachusetts' second-largest city — a vibrant, diverse urban center with a lower cost of living than Boston while remaining just 45 miles west along the I-90 corridor. The city supports a rich academic and cultural scene anchored by multiple colleges and universities, a thriving restaurant and arts district, and easy access to the outdoor recreation of central New England, including hiking, skiing, and lake country. For clinicians seeking the energy of a real city, strong school options, and proximity to Boston without the Boston price tag, Worcester is a compelling place to put down roots.
