<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred</li> <li>Current, active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice</li> <li>AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the Telemetry unit</li> <li>Recent acute care experience preferred; Telemetry or cardiac step-down background is advantageous</li> <li>Demonstrated competency in nursing process application: assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation</li> <li>Familiarity with HICS protocols and hospital emergency code systems preferred</li> </ul>
