Practice Highlights
- Part-time, night-shift schedule in a dedicated Neuro ICU setting
- Direct clinical patient care with per-shift accountability for assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized nursing care
- Responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process

- Accountable to CNO-level leadership for quality, safety, and appropriate resource management
- Medication administration per hospital policy with adherence to established safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards
- Active participation in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies and disaster scenarios

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current, active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
- Recent acute care experience preferred; Neuro ICU or critical care background is advantageous given unit acuity
