About the Community
Tucson is Arizona's second-largest city, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sonoran Desert and surrounded by five mountain ranges — offering year-round outdoor recreation including hiking, cycling, and climbing within minutes of the hospital. The city blends a vibrant arts and food scene with the intellectual energy of a major research university, a cost of living well below coastal metros, and more than 350 days of sunshine annually. Tucson's proximity to Phoenix (roughly 90 minutes north) and the Mexican border adds cultural richness and travel convenience that make it a compelling long-term home for healthcare professionals.
