Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current, active RN licensure in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
- Recent acute care experience preferred; PCU or step-down experience is a strong asset
- Demonstrated competency in nursing process: assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation across assigned patient caseload
