Practice Highlights
- Working lead role — direct patient scanning combined with coordination of the full ultrasound technologist team's scheduling and daily workflow
- Scope covers routine, portable, and invasive ultrasound procedures across General and Vascular modalities for patients of all age groups

- Responsible for equipment calibration, quality control, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and evaluation of new procedures and equipment

- Billing and charging performed through hospital computer systems
- Leads peer review, new-hire orientation, and annual competency processes; participates in performance evaluation and coaching

Qualifications
- Completion of a formal ultrasound technology training program meeting ARDMS certification requirements
- Current ARDMS or CCI certification required; candidates without the preferred certifications have up to one year from date of hire to obtain them
- Preferred credentials: RT(R), RDMS (General and OB), and RVT
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum three years of combined Ultrasound and Vascular experience with demonstrated leadership skills; five or more years of hospital-based experience preferred
- Associate's degree preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills for interaction with patients, staff, and radiologists using radiological and medical terminology; demonstrated problem-solving ability
