Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; a valid CNA or PCA/PCT certificate is an accepted equivalent
- Current CPR certification required
- EKG training required for this cardiac unit (training available on-site)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, visitors, and the multidisciplinary care team
- Working knowledge of patient rights, aseptic and sterile technique, and infection control standards
- Basic computer proficiency and customer service orientation
- Preferred: one year of nursing assistant experience in an acute care setting
- Preferred: CNA or LNA licensure from the Arizona State Board of Nursing
