Practice Highlights

  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting — intermediate acuity nursing with a focus on close monitoring and step-down level care
  • Day-shift, per diem role with direct clinical patient care responsibilities each assigned shift
  • Accountable for full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for assigned patients

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required for PRN/per diem status
  • Recent acute care experience preferred
  • Active Texas RN license required (or eligibility to obtain licensure per state law and regulation)
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
