The system encompasses six full-service hospitals, a specialized children's hospital with a dedicated pediatric emergency unit, a comprehensive cancer care network, imaging centers, and ambulatory services — offering a technologist genuine breadth of case exposure and long-term career runway. <h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-time days schedule within a high-volume, multi-hospital health system</li> <li>Performs complex diagnostic MRI procedures as ordered by licensed physicians across a broad patient population</li> <li>Produces high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining excellent patient care standards, including management of delicate clinical situations (fetal demise, oncologic pathology)</li> <li>Archives studies to PACS/DICOM system and transmits to radiologist reading stations for subspecialty review</li> <li>Demonstrates working knowledge of MRI system hardware, computer interfaces, camera, and all related MR system components</li> <li>Accommodates scheduled, emergency, and add-on patients; manages appointment flow and communicates schedule changes to appropriate personnel</li> <li>Verifies referral appropriateness for each study; consults referring physician when clinical indication requires clarification</li> <li>Maintains strict MRI suite safety protocols related to strong magnetic field environments</li> <li>Participates in Performance Improvement activities and complies with all safety and quality standards</li> <li>System footprint includes six full-service hospitals, a children's hospital, a comprehensive cancer care network, fitness and rehabilitation centers, imaging centers, and the Baptist School of Health Professions</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited MRI program required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Allied Health or certification in another clinical imaging field preferred</li> <li>Minimum 6 months of supervised clinical MRI experience with working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MR pathology required; 2–5 years of MRI experience preferred</li> <li>ARRT (Radiology) or ARMRIT registry eligibility per ACR guidelines required; must achieve MR Technologist registration within one year of graduation from an accredited program</li> <li>ARRT certification specifically in MRI preferred</li> <li>If registered with ARRT in ionizing radiation, active Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required</li> <li>Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire</li> </ul>
