Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, Arizona is recruiting an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join its perioperative team at a 217-bed acute care hospital that has anchored the northwest Phoenix metro since 1988. The OR RN will deliver individualized, direct patient care across a surgical service line that supports cardiovascular, orthopedic, obstetric, and emergency programs. This is a staff-level position with charge nurse responsibilities on a rotating basis, embedded in a facility recognized regionally for advanced clinical services and a strong interdisciplinary care model.

Qualifications

  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona required
  • Current CPR certification required; ACLS as applicable by department
  • Minimum one year of acute care experience preferred; OR or perioperative specialty experience strongly preferred
  • Specialty certification in perioperative nursing (e.g., CNOR) preferred
  • ACLS preferred; PACU-assigned nurses must obtain ACLS within six months of hire and PALS is preferred for PACU coverage
  • Effective interpersonal and team collaboration skills; ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
  • Basic computer proficiency required
