Fort Mill Medical Center — a 100-bed acute care facility that opened in 2022 in Fort Mill, South Carolina — is recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). - Responsibilities include initiating and documenting individualized plans of care, developing patient education plans, verifying orders and medication reconciliation, monitoring first-dose medications for adverse reactions, and interpreting and acting on diagnostic data including critical lab value notification per protocol
- Structured orientation period with defined credentialing milestones (ACLS and PALS required within orientation)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Valid permanent multi-state RN license from state of residence required; nurses holding a compact-state license from another state must obtain a multi-state license from their state of residence within 30 days of hire
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR required — must be obtained within 7 days of hire
- American Heart Association ACLS and PALS required — must be obtained within the orientation period
- Minimum six months of critical care or telemetry experience preferred
