Qualifications
- Minimum: Baccalaureate degree from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university (or foreign equivalent) in dietetics or a related field
- Registration or registration eligibility with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required; candidates must successfully pass the CDR registration examination within six (6) months of hire
- Current Texas State Licensure or Provisional Licensure issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Dietitians required; newly CDR-registered candidates must obtain Texas State Licensure within 90 days of registration
- No prior clinical experience required; 1–2 years of clinical dietetics experience preferred
