Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Education, Management, or a related field preferred (or demonstrated equivalent competencies)
- Minimum five years of nursing experience required; three to five years of Emergency Department nursing experience strongly preferred
- Clinical and administrative practice experience required
- Working knowledge of Quality Improvement processes and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards required
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida required
- BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) designation preferred
- National specialty certification preferred
