Qualifications
- Completion of a formal Surgical Technology education or training program leading to CST certification — required
- Active Surgical Technologist certification (CST) — required
- Current CPR certification — required
- Demonstrated knowledge of operative procedures, surgical instrumentation, and OR equipment
- Working knowledge of current surgical scrub technique and medical terminology
- Two or more years of hospital surgical experience — preferred
- Strong customer service orientation and basic computer proficiency
