Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal Surgical Technology education or training program leading to CST certification — required
  • Active Surgical Technologist certification (CST) — required
  • Current CPR certification — required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operative procedures, surgical instrumentation, and OR equipment
  • Working knowledge of current surgical scrub technique and medical terminology
  • Two or more years of hospital surgical experience — preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation and basic computer proficiency
