- Conducts comprehensive admission assessments covering physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk, and discharge planning needs
- Participates in hourly rounding and maintains strict adherence to safety guidelines and safe work practices
- Charge nurse responsibilities available on a shift basis — role includes assessing, planning, delegating, and directing other healthcare team members
- Fast-paced environment with periods of above-average acuity demand; strong team-based support structure in place
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Arizona required
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS required or must be obtained within six months of hire (PACU/PreOp standard)
- PALS preferred for perioperative/PACU-adjacent roles
- Minimum one year of acute care experience preferred; specialty certification preferred
- Proficiency with basic computer systems; strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented clinical environment with independent clinical judgment
