Practice Highlights
- Full-time, day-shift position on a dedicated Telemetry unit
- Direct clinical patient care role with per-shift responsibility for patient assessment, planning, and implementation of care
- Accountable for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process
- Responsible for supervision and appropriate delegation of care to supporting staff
- Practice guided by established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control
- Medication administration per hospital policy with emphasis on safety and timeliness
- Active role in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies and disaster events

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current, active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
- Recent acute care experience preferred; telemetry or cardiac step-down background is advantageous
