Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience in central sterile processing, decontamination, or sterile processing required
  • Central Sterile Processing Technician Certificate preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be able to follow oral and written instructions in English
  • Thorough knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile processing equipment, and sterile supplies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, meet daily deadlines, and adapt to fluctuating case volume and schedule changes
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with OR staff, department leadership, and CSPD team members
