<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred</li> <li>No prior experience required — new graduates are eligible and encouraged to apply</li> <li>Prior acute care experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU is preferred but not mandatory</li> <li>Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire</li> <li>Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS specifically required within 60 days of hire</li> <li>AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the PCU/telemetry role, and should be completed before the end of the orientation period</li> </ul>
