The Hospitals of Providence – East Campus in El Paso, Texas is recruiting a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join its perioperative team. This is a day-shift position at a hospital system with more than 120 years of community service, spanning five campuses including a dedicated children's hospital. The CST will work in a structured scrub role across a diverse surgical schedule, contributing directly to patient outcomes in a high-trust, team-oriented OR environment.

Practice Highlights
- Day-shift schedule with assigned on-call availability as required by unit need
- Full scrub role across a variety of surgical procedures in an active OR department
- Responsibilities include aseptic technique, sterile field setup, instrument and equipment preparation, scrubbing and passing instruments intraoperatively, case pulling, and post-procedure breakdown
- Sets up the operating room and prepares supplies for the current and following day's surgical schedule

Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program (required)
- Associate degree in surgical technology (preferred)
- Active Surgical Technology certification (CST) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent (required)
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Minimum one year of surgical technologist experience (preferred)
- Demonstrated competency in aseptic technique, sterile field management, and instrument handling across surgical specialties
