Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
- Completion of a basic EKG course or passing an EKG exam required within 90 days of hire
- Completion of a cardiac monitor technician program designed for unlicensed healthcare providers required within 90 days of hire
- Strong EKG interpretation and rhythm analysis skills are essential
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and demonstrated customer service ability
- Preferred: prior completion of a formal Cardiac Monitor Technician program and at least one year of hospital monitor tech experience
