Practice Highlights

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
  • Completion of a basic EKG course or passing an EKG exam required within 90 days of hire
  • Completion of a cardiac monitor technician program designed for unlicensed healthcare providers required within 90 days of hire
  • Strong EKG interpretation and rhythm analysis skills are essential
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and demonstrated customer service ability
  • Preferred: prior completion of a formal Cardiac Monitor Technician program and at least one year of hospital monitor tech experience
