Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a valid CNA or PCA/PCT certificate is an accepted equivalent
- Certification: Current CPR certification required
- EKG training required for this cardiac unit placement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, visitors, and the multidisciplinary care team
- Working knowledge of patient rights, aseptic and sterile technique, and infection control best practices
- Basic computer skills and excellent customer service orientation
- Preferred: One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting
- Preferred: Active CNA or LNA certification from the Arizona State Board of Nursing
