Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the State of Arizona, or eligibility to obtain
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience in a Cardiac, Telemetry, Stepdown, CVICU, or ICU setting required; two or more years in a cardiac stepdown or progressive care unit preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of hire
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required upon completion of orientation
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior nursing staff
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills; ability to perform efficiently under pressure
