Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in critical care, emergency department, or operating room required
- Prior Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience strongly preferred
- Current Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
- Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire if not already AHA-credentialed
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the role
