Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, Arizona is recruiting a full-time Registered Nurse for its Cardiac/Telemetry Unit on the day shift. This 217-bed acute care hospital has anchored the Glendale community since 1988, offering advanced cardiovascular, orthopedic, obstetrics, and emergency services. The Cardiac/Telemetry Unit is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where experienced RNs deliver individualized bedside care to a dedicated cardiac patient population and have the opportunity to grow into charge nurse responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the State of Arizona, or eligibility to obtain
  • Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience in a Cardiac, Telemetry, Stepdown, CVICU, or ICU setting
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of hire
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required upon completion of orientation
  • Two or more years of experience in a cardiac stepdown or progressive care unit is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior staff; comfort with charge nurse responsibilities
