Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of Arizona, or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience in a Cardiac, Telemetry, Stepdown, CVICU, or ICU setting
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of hire
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required upon completion of orientation
- Two or more years of experience in a cardiac stepdown or progressive care unit is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior staff; comfort with charge nurse responsibilities
