Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in sterile processing or as a surgical technician required
- Certification required: must obtain within 18 months of hire either the Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from the Certification Board of Sterile Processing & Distribution (CBSPD), or the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)
