Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a sterile processing course or surgical technician program required
  • Certified Central Service Technician (CCST) or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential preferred; candidates not yet certified at hire must obtain certification within the first year of employment
  • Prior experience in central sterilization operations preferred (minimum one year); entry-level candidates with appropriate training will be considered
  • Demonstrated ability to follow strict procedural protocols, maintain accuracy under pressure, and interact professionally across all hospital departments
