Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
- Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required on hire (ARC or AHA accepted); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- No prior experience required for the Med/Surg unit; two years of acute care experience preferred
