<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred</li> <li>Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required, or current eligibility for Texas state board certification</li> <li>Completion of a peri-anesthesia or critical care internship or training course preferred</li> <li>CPAN (Post Anesthesia — ABPANC) board eligibility or certification preferred for PACU placement; CNOR preferred for surgical services; SGNA board eligibility or certification preferred for GI Lab</li> <li>Active AHA or ARC Healthcare Provider BLS required at hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS specifically required within 60 days of hire</li> <li>AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer for all Surgical Services areas</li> <li>AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer for PACU placement</li> </ul>
