Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in central sterile processing, decontamination, or sterile processing required
- Thorough knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and aseptic and sterile techniques
- Ability to inspect, assemble, and process instrument trays; identify and replace broken or lost instruments
- Proficiency operating sterile processing equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, meet daily deadlines, and adapt to changing volumes
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Central Sterile Processing Technician Certificate preferred
- English reading comprehension required to follow written and oral instructions and complete regulatory documentation
