Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience in central sterile processing, decontamination, or sterile processing required
  • Thorough knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and aseptic and sterile techniques
  • Ability to inspect, assemble, and process instrument trays; identify and replace broken or lost instruments
  • Proficiency operating sterile processing equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, meet daily deadlines, and adapt to changing volumes
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Central Sterile Processing Technician Certificate preferred
  • English reading comprehension required to follow written and oral instructions and complete regulatory documentation
