Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required
- No prior acute care experience required for Med/Surg placement; 2 years of acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification required — must be obtained through an American Heart Association-approved Training Center or the Military Training Network
- For placement in Behavioral Health: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification required within 60 days of hire or transfer; 1 year of psychiatric facility experience preferred (2 years preferred)
- For placement in Dialysis: minimum 1 year of acute or chronic dialysis experience required; 2 years preferred
