Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
- Within 90 days of hire: completion of a basic EKG course or passing an EKG competency exam required; completion of a Cardiac Monitor Technician program designed for unlicensed healthcare providers required
- Preferred: prior completion of a Cardiac Monitor Technician program before hire
- Preferred: one year of hospital monitor tech experience
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze electrocardiogram rhythms
- Strong customer service skills and basic computer proficiency
- Ability to assess and prioritize a rapidly changing workload and complete tasks in a timely manner
