TeamHealth is seeking a Post-Acute Medical Director to lead clinical operations at a skilled nursing or post-acute care facility in Lanett, AL.
### What you'll do
- Provide direct patient care to post-acute and skilled nursing facility residents
- Serve as Medical Director, overseeing clinical quality and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Participate in facility quality improvement initiatives and committee meetings
- Mentor and support clinical staff in delivering evidence-based post-acute care
### What we're looking for
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Alabama medical license
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty
- Experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to engage with facility administration
- Commitment to quality, compliance, and patient-centered care
