Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate of an accredited school of medical technology; equivalent military training as defined by 42 CFR 493.1489 also accepted; or qualification at the Medical Technologist level via satisfactory grade on an HHS examination prior to 2/28/92 per 42 CFR 493.1491
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical technologist in an acute care facility; or 1 year of acute care experience combined with a Master's degree
- Active Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required
- Demonstrated proficiency with both automated and manual laboratory testing methodologies
- Strong communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration with clinical staff regarding lab-related issues
