<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-time night shift: 1800–0630, six shifts per two-week pay period</li> <li>Some weekend coverage required on a rotating basis</li> <li>Full-spectrum respiratory care delivery across an acute care hospital setting</li> <li>Cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing including point-of-care blood gas analysis via i-STAT analyzers</li> <li>Responsibility for quality control on all respiratory care equipment</li> <li>Part of the Desert Care Network — three-hospital system encompassing Hi-Desert Medical Center (Joshua Tree), Desert Regional Medical Center (Palm Springs), and JFK Memorial Hospital (Indio)</li> <li>Network-level advanced services include a Level 1 Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke program, oncology services, and a Level 3 NICU — the only one in the Coachella Valley</li> <li>Introductory competency period with structured onboarding expectations</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an AMA-accredited respiratory care program required</li> <li>Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required</li> <li>Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) state licensure required</li> <li>Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required</li> <li>Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required</li> </ul>
