<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Fully remote position — work-from-home with no on-site requirement</li> <li>Level II coding scope includes evaluation and management (multi-specialty), radiology, and emergency department coding</li> <li>Assign ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS codes and modifiers directly from medical record documentation</li> <li>Review and resolve pre-bill coding edits prior to claim submission</li> <li>Review and resolve coding denials from third-party payers</li> <li>Apply CCI (Correct Coding Initiative), LCD (Local Coverage Determinations), NCD (National Coverage Determinations), and client-specific coding guidelines</li> <li>Productivity and accuracy tracked via monthly internal audits — accuracy standard set at 95.5% or above</li> <li>Assignments must be completed before monthly closing dates; deadline-driven workflow</li> <li>Collaborative team environment with expectation to present coding issues to internal teams and internal/external clients in one-on-one or small group settings</li> <li>Multiple coding resources available to support code assignment decisions</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Vocational or technical education beyond high school required</li> <li>Minimum 3–5 years of physician services coding experience</li> <li>Active CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist – Physician-based), or equivalent certification required; multi-specialty E&amp;M coding competency expected</li> <li>Demonstrated working knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, and coding rules and regulations</li> <li>Working knowledge of CCI, LCD, NCD, and other applicable coding rules and third-party reimbursement regulations</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel</li> <li>Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness; strong attention to detail and problem-resolution skills</li> <li>Vaccination and health screening requirements must be met prior to start of employment, as applicable and permitted by law (may include COVID-19, influenza, and other required screenings)</li> </ul>
