Delray Medical Center — a 536-bed, state-designated Level I Trauma Center in Delray Beach, Florida — is seeking a full-time GME Coordinator to manage the daily administrative operations of its Vascular Surgery Graduate Medical Education Fellowship and Undergraduate Medical Education programs. This is a dual-focus, 50/50 role supporting both MS3/MS4 medical students and Vascular Surgery fellows, sitting at the intersection of academic medicine and hospital operations. The position offers direct involvement in ACGME accreditation compliance, program development, and faculty coordination within one of southern Palm Beach County's most comprehensive acute care institutions.

Practice Highlights

  • Dual-role coordinator position: 50% Medical Student Coordinator (MS3/MS4) and 50% Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program Coordinator
  • Coordinates clinical rotation scheduling, orientation, onboarding, and performance documentation for medical students across university, faculty, and clinical site partnerships
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for external rotators — residents and fellows — following clearance for onboarding, including access requests, ID badges, scrub access, and specialty-specific onboarding protocols
  • Manages ACGME and ACCME accreditation compliance, including Program Letters of Agreement, Annual Data System (ADS) updates, milestone submissions, and fellow and faculty survey oversight
  • Maintains complete and annotated meeting minutes referencing specific ACGME institutional requirements; develops agendas and ensures timely documentation review for all GME meetings
  • Prepares Special Review documentation and coordinates program action plans; assists in preparing the institution for all accreditation site visits
  • Collaborates with department leadership on submission of status letters, progress reports, and other correspondence required to maintain accreditation standing
  • Supports faculty management and assists in the execution of program faculty responsibilities
  • Based at a 536-bed acute care hospital on a 30-acre campus with over 1,700 employees and 700 physicians, serving southern Palm Beach County for more than 40 years
  • Facility houses advanced cardiac and vascular services, orthopedics, neurosciences, emergency care, weight-loss surgery, a 53-bed adult psychiatry unit (Fair Oaks Pavilion), and the only state-designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program in Palm Beach County (Pinecrest Rehabilitation)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred
  • Minimum three years of experience in Graduate Medical Education administration
  • Demonstrated experience with ACGME accreditation standards, compliance documentation, and program coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to accurate, complete record-keeping
