Practice Highlights
- 333-bed acute care hospital serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast regional catchment
- Performs a full range of diagnostic CT procedures following established protocols and manufacturer specifications, adhering to ALARA principles
- Documentation and image management via Cerner EMR and PACS
- Advanced robotic surgical program on campus, including MAKO and Da Vinci robotic platforms for general surgery procedures
- Commission on Cancer-accredited Cancer Center anchored by a state-of-the-art Breast Center
- Participates in rotating call schedule as needed in addition to primary shift assignment
- Responsibilities include room preparation, supply and equipment readiness, patient safety device utilization, and accurate patient information verification across requests, reports, and PACS
- High-acuity acute care environment with emergency and surgical volume supporting a broad CT case mix
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- ARRT CT certification required
- Active Florida State Radiologic Technologist license (HRS) required or eligibility to obtain
- Current CPR / BLS certification required
- Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting performing both CT and radiography imaging procedures
