Practice Highlights

Qualifications

  • Minimum: completion of a formal two-year Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Radiology or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of hands-on CT scan experience required
  • Required certification — one of the following: ARRT in Computed Tomography; NMTCB in Computed Tomography; or ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification with documented CT training
  • CT Registry required within 6 months of start if not already held (preferred at time of hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Arizona state licensure required if mandated by state regulation
